"Inks" is a collection of abstract calligraphy.
Ink or acrylic paint, they are available depending on the moment in one or more brushstrokes. The gesture is without pre-determination. This non-doing is the key to the practice of abstract calligraphy.
Description of the series "The Secret Energy"
The series "The secret energy that keeps standing" from the "Encres" collection was born from a verse by the poet André Velter.
A single calligraphic gesture repeated 12 times, numbered from 0 to 11, twelve ways of expressing the desire to remain standing. A tribute to the courage of a man, a member of my family, who was very dear to me.
